This is the heated bed upgrade. It consists of a 6mm thick sandwich aluminum plate plus a kapton tape foil heater. The foil heater ensures very even heat distribution and very efficient heating. The deviation of temp over the whole bed is less than 0.5 degC at 60degC. The heater has an integrated thermistor. The wires of the heater foil and thermistor are 2m. Further benefits of the plate are that it is lighter, stiffer and flatter than the previous heated bed. This ensures optimal adhesion of objects to the print surface.
